Personal Use and Resale Policy

Products sold through the Alton Towers Resort Online Shop are supplied for personal, non-commercial use only. Customers may purchase products for themselves, or as personal gifts. 

By placing an order, you confirm that you are purchasing products for your own personal use, or as a personal gift, and not for the purpose of resale, commercial distribution, trade, business use, or any other commercial gain.

You must not purchase products from the Alton Towers Resort Online Shop with the intention of reselling them through any channel, including but not limited to online marketplaces, auction sites, social media platforms, retail stores, or third-party websites.

Bulk purchasing is not permitted. We may treat an order as a bulk purchase where, in our reasonable opinion, the quantity ordered is unusually high, repeated orders are placed for the same or similar products, orders are split across multiple transactions, or the order otherwise appears inconsistent with normal personal use.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or amend any order where we reasonably believe that:

  • the products are being purchased for the purpose of resale, commercial use, or any other purpose that is not personal use;
  • the products are being purchased for intended commercial gain;
  • the quantity of products ordered is unusually high or exceeds what we consider reasonable for personal use;
  • multiple quantities of the same or similar products are ordered in a way that suggests stockpiling or onward sale;
  • repeated orders are placed for the same or similar products over a short period of time;
  • multiple orders are placed using the same or linked customer details, including but not limited to account, household, payment method, billing address, delivery address, IP address, or associated accounts;
  • the purchase pattern appears inconsistent with normal personal use; or
  • the purchase otherwise appears to breach this policy.

We may request additional information to verify that an order is for personal use. If we are unable to verify this, or if satisfactory information is not provided, we may refuse or cancel the order.

Where we refuse or cancel an order under this policy after payment has been taken, we will refund any amount paid for the cancelled items to the original payment method.

We reserve the right to take any further action we consider appropriate where this policy is breached, including restricting future purchases or access to the Alton Towers Resort Online Shop.
